Vistakon's Johnson & Johsnon's Acuvue. The Acuvue disposable is best known as the top selling contact lens in the world today. ACUVUE Brand Contact Lenses, the world's first disposable contact lenses, offer the convenience of one-week extended wear. That means that you put them in and throw them away 7 days later (which means you can sleep in them!) That's because their thin design allow for high amounts of oxygen to be transmitted to the eye. And, since ACUVUE is made mostly of water, it works well with your natural eye fluids. They can also be worn as a two-week daily wear lens (which means you take the lenses out each night). Added features include UV-Blocking that blocks up to 95 percent of the sun's harmful UV ultraviolet rays and an Inside-Out AV mark to make them easier to insert. Multipack contains six individual soft contact lenses immersed in sterile saline solution. Light blue visibility handling tint and ultraviolet (UV) protection. Lens material: Etafilcon A Water content: 58%. The disinfection methods are: chemical or peroxide if re-used. Acuvue and Acuvue 2 brand contacts are both made of the same materials but are available in different base curve and diameter options. The two products cannot be substituted for one another.
