Currently, there is no rebate offered for this lens. Ciba's Precision UV. Manufactured by Ciba Vision, formerly Wesley Jessen, Precision UV was the first disposable contact lens to offer a UV protection from sunlight and other sources. Precision UV lenses are one of the only disposable contact lenses that block harmful UV Rays. Up to 90% in fact. To prove it, Ciba Vision put a Precision UV lens and an ordinary disposable lens on a persons forehead and then put them into a tanning bed. A white mark was later seen under the Precision UV lens showing how the lens provides real protection from the harmful UV Rays while the other leading disposable caused the skin under the lens to tan. Remember: UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT a subsitute for protective UV-absorbing eye wear.
